Director and Head Instructor
Ms. Patty-Jean
Patty-Jean St Hilaire has an extensive artistic journey that has spanned over four decades, encompassing the realms of dance, music, and theater. With a rich tapestry of experience, she brings more than 25 years of dedicated teaching expertise in the Arts. Patty-Jean's artistic foundation began in childhood studying ballet, theater and music and into adulthood at the Winnipeg School of Contemporary Dancers (University of Winnipeg), where she underwent professional training. Her journey includes immersive experiences such as RWB's Summer Teacher's Courses, the Granville Ferry Summer Professional Dance Program, and achieving accreditation as an instructor in Acrobatic Arts, Alixa Flexibility, Kindermusik, and a registered ADTA instructor. Patty-Jean stands as the visionary founder and architect of the iCreate Movement Method, a transformative and healing approach to movement. Her influence extends beyond her teachings, as numerous former students have transitioned into university dance programs, blossoming into accomplished dance professionals and educators in their own right. Her unwavering passion for nurturing a process-driven environment over performance-oriented pursuits is palpable. Patty-Jean's steadfast belief echoes: "In some capacity, everyone possesses the soul of an artist, a dancer, a creator."
